Just received this today! Gotta say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this hoodie. I am a slim, 5'4" female assassin who wears a S/M in american shirts and got an XS. It is a bit large and loose on me still but it's not bad. I think this is a regular fit hoodie while the newer versions are slim fit (which probably explains why a lot of people find the new fit small). The XS in the Ezio Brotherhood hoodie fit me perfectly while this hoodie is big.
The best part of this hoodie is the eagle embroidery. It's even on the inside when you unzip the jacket which was a nice surprise! The red contrasts really nice with the black. The inside is lined with a fleece-like material which is very warm. Don't think I can wear this during the summer (like at SDCC) because it would probably be too hot.
The zippers are awesome. They all have the AC symbol on them and not sure if people said they are installed backwards on this version of the hoodie but all of mine are installed with the symbol on the outside. The hood fits great but the only gripe I have is that the zipper pull dangles awkwardly in front of your face when you have the hood up...I think someone mentioned below that you should unzip it like an inch to it matches up with the edge of the hood. The hood is also kinda heavy due to the zipper and does cover the eagle when it's down. The shear panels are cool...although a bit impractical. don't think you're actually supposed to see through them lol.
Pockets are great quality and both of the outside pockets have zippers. The inside ones are thinner and I wouldn't put anything heavy or sharp in them.
There are also a few loose threads but it's nothing scissors can't take care of.
Overall, great jacket! I was planning on giving it to a friend but I may keep it for myself now hehe. If you are a girl and want a slimmer fit you might want to go with the newer desmond hoodie.

It's simple and contemporary, if you want to avoid the period flourishes of the historical assassin items.
That zipper, though. It is confounding. It certainly looks awesome, but would you, you know, unzip it? No. Don't do that. The pull does dangle in front of your face a bit when fully zipped, so I unzipped it just an inch so it lines up with the hood edge, and that's perfect.
And indeed, the mesh panels on the side are a genius idea that doesn't pan out - as with Ezio's Brotherhood hoodie, I find I want more depth in the hood. More depth (or the sides draping closer to the face) and the panels would be more in my peripheral vision, making the feature useful. As it is, like the zipper, it does look neat enough to forgive.
Eagle on the back is kickin', though with the hood down, it's mostly hidden - but who wants to wear it with the hood DOWN? Psh.
